Vanessa Aiken is a New Jersey native, having studied multiple dance styles including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern and Character.  She received her training from the Princeton Dance and Theatre Studio in Princeton, NJ; The Academy of Dance in Hampton Virginia, and most recently performed in a training company with The Virginia Ballet Theatre in Norfolk, VA.  She is a dance instructor in north Jersey and principal dancer with the Illuminations Modern Dance Company, based in New York.  She received her Master’s Degree in Dance Education from NYU and plans to open her own dance studio which caters heavily to novice adults and provides affordable dance lessons to low-income families.  Vanessa is happy to be an integral part of  “The Family” and thanks God and her parents for her success.
